The Thamesreach Singers & Musicians are an informal group aiming to bring medieval music to life at our events.

We sing extant medieval and renaissance songs in a variety of languages, as well as dabbling in ‘filks’ (mischievous SCA-related lyrics set to existing tunes).

Most of our pieces are sung a capella, however we are beginning to introduce flute, violin, lute and recorder to our performance, both alone and accompanying our singing.

Our meetings are on Tuesday nights at the homes of members. Contact our chatelaine at castellan@thamesreach.org to join in. All are welcome! You do not need to know anything about singing/music, though of course we also welcome those with instruments and experience.
