Thamesreach Revel season on its way!
The days are getting longer, though not noticably warmer yet! Our next revel date is booked in.
March 27th – Costumes Surgery! 2pm til 10pm, Hargrave Hall
Do you have a costume project you are stuck on or wish to improve? Or have that perfect piece of kit in mind, but don’t know where to start? Want to produce your first T-Tunic? Or find a belt design to hold it all together? From Viking trews to Elizabethan doublets, this is an excellent opportunity to prepare for the 2010 activity season – remember, the Winchester Pilgrimage weekend will only be two months away from this date. The Shire Sewing Machine will be in attendance (yes yes yes, it will have been serviced by March). If anyone else can bring one, that would be even better!

St Ethelburga Dance Masters Announced!
Great news! I am pleased to announce that the dancing will again be led by Master Paul de Gorey and M’Lady Anne Dellar on the day of the feasting. Lord Paul and Lady Anne have previously led excellent tuition at Thamesreach revels and previous St Ethelburga feasts.
Seasoned dancers and beginners alike will find the range of dances that these highly-esteemed dancers can lay on most enjoyable. So, if you haven’t already booked, do so now!
Tickets are £20 or £15 concessions, drop an email to reservations@thamesreach.org,

Arts Afternoon Report
On Sunday 8th of November a small group gathered at William of Barnet’s flat to work on projects, eat and drink, and enjoy good conversation. Progress was made on fighting equipment and outfits and much merriment was made.
These Arts Afternoons are a regular occurrence. If you would like to attend one, whether you’re brand new to all this or an old hand, keep an eye on the events calendar for details.
Local Revel 28th November 2009
